Farm News for March 30th.  Our family is getting ready for this Sunday’s (April 3rd) Open House and Farm Tour.   Times will be from 11a-2p.  We will be sampling goat cheese, plus our new goat milk ice cream and frozen sorbets.  The ice cream and sorbets will be made that day.  Talk about delicious.  Your kids will be able to see our new born lambs and kids (goats) born in the last two weeks and see the older kids (goats and children) frolic and run around.  Last open house we sold out of ice cream so this time we will make more.

We will also give away a $30 gift certificate.

If you know anyone who is lactose intolerant, let them know they will be able to enjoy the delicious goat milk ice cream.  This is a great opportunity for people who normally can not enjoy ice cream.  We call it Udder Escape and Bama Cools

February 28, 2011.  The Season has started!!  Humble Heart Farms has started milking thus making cheese. Once again we are a local Farmstead that raises our own goats and makes cheese from our own milk. The first cheeses are always the creamiest.

At the end of last week, we delivered our first cheese to the restaurants and retail outlets.  The fine restaurants that carry Humble Heart Cheese are:

801 Franklin, http://www.801franklin.net/,   801 Franklin is certainly about food...Delicious, seasonal food (that include Humble Heart Farms) with subtle and unique flavors that fill your mouth with pleasant surprise and appreciation.
